TEDOM is the largest supplier of CHP units with MWM engines

TEDOM continues its growth in cogeneration field. In the QUANTO output series (0.4 to 4.3 MW), TEDOM traditionally uses gas engines of renowned world manufacturers, especially Caterpillar and MWM (formerly DEUTZ).

Compared to 2011 when TEDOM sold 30 machines with MWM engines, this year it produced more than 50 CHP units with these engines, i.e. one big machine a week. The total output of all types of TEDOM CHP units delivered in 2012 exceeded 80 MW. A significant part of this was made of the supply of 12 MWM engines to a trigeneration source at Sydney Airport in Australia, where TEDOM co-owns and controls the GridX company.TEDOM has been cooperating with MWM since 2008 on the basis of the Key Account Agreement, i.e. a contract for major customers
. In 2011, MWM became part of the American group Caterpillar which has its own worldwide distribution network. Despite this merger, TEDOM remains a direct sales and service partner of the MWM and continues to strengthen its position.
