TEDOM heats water for swimmers in Sydney (video)

For the second year, the TEDOM CHP unit has been supplying electricity and heat to the Sydney Olympic Pool in the Australian city of Sydney.

The swimming pool compound is situated in a magnificent location overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Cento T100 CHP unit produces 450,000 kWh of electricity per year while heating one indoor swimming pool to 29 ° C and one outdoor saltwater pool to 25 ° C. Thanks to cogeneration, the pool runner significantly saves operating costs while contributing to CO2 emissions reduction by 367 tons per year. During the installation, considerable obstacles related to the placement of the CHP unit weighing more than 4 tons into a glass soundproof engine room had to be overcome. Check out the video from the installation of this CHP unit.
