TEDOM CHP units in exclusive resort in UK

Celtic Manor, the 5-star holiday resort in Newport, Wales, where the NATO summit was held in 2014 and the Ryder Cup golf tournament in 2010, will use two TEDOM Cento T200 CHP units to supply their hotels and large area with the electricity and heat.

This project was secured by Shentongroup, the official distributor of TEDOM CHP units in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The CHP units will be owned and run by EuroSite Power’s, an energy services provider. It shall supply the electricity and heat to Celtic Manor resort for 15 years. TEDOM CHP units generate annually up to 2,174,960 kWh of electricity and 2,579,990 kWh of heat, which presents saving of 751 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.The Celtic Manor complex is spread over more than 2,000 acres of park in Wales. It consists of three buildings – a luxury hotel with 334 rooms, a 19th-century historic mansion with 67 rooms, and the Coldra Court Hotel with 148 rooms. The Celtic Manor ranks among recreational complexes that offer a varied range of business and leisure stays as well as for golf lovers.
