The electrical output fully covers the consumption of wastewater treatment plant technology. The use of the thermal energy is also interesting. It is partly used for heating the water, central heating and WWTP equipment technology, however, its main use is for drying and granulating the sludge arisen and sold at the end of the technology in the form of small granules to local heating company. Their burning closes the cycle of handling of hazardous substances from the wastewater treatment plant which are also used energetically in the end.
In July 2015, the TEDOM Poland subsidiary commissioned a Cento T100 CHP unit of 106 kW electrical and 143 kW thermal output in the Morag wastewater treatment plant in Poland in June 2015.
