Flexi

TEDOM Flexi

Simply Flexible

Flexi series CHP units are optimally used in energy-demanding buildings such as, hospitals, schools, hotels, aquaparks, conference centers and industrial facilities. Their modular design allows for simple adaptation to customers’ requirements where they can select a wide array of options. To put it simply, the main features of this output series are flexibility and simple configurability.

OVERVIEW OF PRODUCED TYPES

Typical Features of FLEXI CHP Units

Wide Output Range

Wide Output Range

The Flexi series will gradually include the CHP units with an electrical output of 100–555kW for the 50Hz and 60Hz mains.
Selectable Location of the Switchboard

Selectable Location of the Switchboard

The switchboard can be located either directly on the CHP unit frame or it can be mounted stand-alone, which is then wired to the CHP unit via cables.
Low Emissions

Low Emissions

Due to the engines with stoichiometric combustion or the integrated SCR system, the Flexi CHP units produce very low NOx emissions.
External Oil Tank

External Oil Tank

Oil is replaced automatically from the external tank which results in extended servicing intervals and reduction in overall costs.
Variable Versions

Variable Versions

CHP units can be delivered as an open module, equipped with a sound enclosure, or placed in a container.
Operation Using Various Fuels

Operation Using Various Fuels

The Flexi CHP units can process natural gas, biogas, sewage gas and other gaseous fuels.

Examples of utilization of FLEXI CHP units

Swimming Pools and Aquaparks

Swimming pools and aquaparks are facilities with an above-average demand for heat, primarily for heating the swimming pool water. Consequently, they prove to be an ideal place for utilization of CHP units which, due to the common production of power and heat, assist in reducing the energy demands of these facilities.

Biogas Plants

Power generation from biogas produced by fermenting agricultural animal and plant waste is becoming more and more popular in recent years. TEDOM CHP units operate in hundreds of biogas plants in numerous countries worldwide.

Industrial Facilities

Industrial facilities frequently utilize CHP units for their own consumption of power and heat. In these applications, cogeneration is a very flexible source of energy which assists in reducing costs for the various forms of energy required.

Schools and Universities

Schools and universities are buildings with high energy consumption. For this reason, TEDOM CHP units can commonly be found in these types of facilities - the CHP units are used to supply power, heat and cold.
